With new options available in the April 2018 update, we’ll walk you through the procedures for modifying the high DPI settings for traditional desktop programs (win32), allowing Windows to automatically repair blurred text and objects. If the functionality does not work as planned, you can override the general settings by selecting the high DPI setting that should be used by a specific application. Starting with the April 2018 update (version 1803), Windows 10 includes a new option in the “Advanced Scaling Options” tab that automatically identifies and attempts to repair blurry apps the next time you open them, to alleviate this problem. In most cases, you will need to log out and log back in to fix the problem.
